Established in 2005 Cuttlefish supplies pharmaceutical, medical products and food supplements using world class manufacturing companies to produce high quality products at cost effective prices.
We sell to pharmaceutical companies, wholesalers and retailers as well as to UK public sector bodies.
We are licenced by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) and comply with EU and UK legislation relating to wholesale distribution of medicinal products. For medical products and food supplements we make sure Cuttlefish and our suppliers hold the appropriate authorisations. Cuttlefish is a registered Food Business Organisation.
Quality
Our suppliers hold certifications for the standards applicable to the products supplied including: manufacturing licences for medicinal products issued by the MHRA and European regulatory agencies, ISO 9001 (quality management system), ISO 13485 (medical devices quality management systems) and ISO 22000 (food safety management systems).
Our suppliers also complying to all legislation and standards of regulation that apply to the products being manufactured.
We operate to Good Distribution Practice (GDP) that enables us to comply to EU and UK legislation relating to wholesale distribution of medicinal products.
As a result we hold wholesale distribution authorisations (WDA) issued by the MHRA for human and for veterinary medicinal products.
Our suppliers hold the international standards applicable to the products supplied including: manufacturing licences for medicinal products issued by the MHRA and European regulatory agencies, ISO 9001 and ISO 13485, as well as complying to any national standards of regulation in the countries of origin.

The LSAS represents a systematic approach to labour standards management with the aim of identifying issues, mitigating risk and driving continuous improvement in the labour standards of our suppliers.
